Displaced Homemakers

The Cleveland County Abuse Prevention Council proudly offers New Choices, one of just 35 displaced homemaker programs statewide, designed to empower homemakers who must transition into the job market after losing the support of another’s income or public assistance.

New Choices offers free, quality individual and group services to men and women looking to:

  • improve self-esteem;
  • demystify budgeting and finances;
  • enhance employability;
  • develop short- and long-term career goals;
  • facilitate a strategic job search; and
  • explore important health and life skills.
