Counseling Services

Rape/Sexual Assault/Adult Survivors of Sexual Abuse

The aftermath of rape and sexual abuse can leave victims feeling devastated, even if those events happened many years ago. Sometimes the only difference between being a victim and becoming a survivor is the support you get along the way. Individual counseling and support groups at APC can help:

  • Reduce anxiety
  • Improve coping skills
  • Challenge myths about sexual victimization
  • Decrease feelings of shame and self blame
  • Provide a support system

Fees

At  APC we are committed to providing affordable, professional counseling for adult and teen victims seeking help. For this reason the Counseling Program operates on a sliding fee scale. Fees are determined by ability to pay based on individual income and current financial situation. No one will be refused counseling services due to an inability to pay.
