  1. My husband verbally and physically abuses me and the boys constantly. He is an alcoholic and appears to have further undiagnosed psychiatric issues. I have requested separation multiple times but he is not willing to relinquish control. I feel helpless and so do my kids. Combined, we make a substantial amount and I do not want to change the boys life style due to their father’s opportunities. Please advise.
